Breaking News - Organizer Announces one senior class race will have a $20,000 First Place Cash Prize.

September 1, 2010 – Part of the organization’s new membership marketing plan is to get out amongst the industry at leading karting events around the country and talk about the new KIC programs and learn about the needs from each karting industry segment and region.

Added to the schedule today is one of the largest dirt oval karting events ever to be held indoors, the O’Reilly Auto Parts National Indoor Kart Championship, which is scheduled on November 26-27, 2010 inside the Batesville Civic Center, in Batesville, Mississippi.

With more than 16 pages of pre-registered competitors already committed, Jam Promotions expects as many as 1000 entries in the multiple classes the competition offers.

This latest announcement of the largest single first-place cash prize to be paid for a single karting class should draw some major competition from all members of the karting community. According to Lanier James, president of Jam Promotions, “We expect to see competitors from all facets of karting to make the trip to Batesville for this one. Sprint Kart, Legions and even top stock car racers will come out to get involved.” James went on to say, “Just think $20k for twenty laps, not bad?” The arena holds over 8000 spectator seats around the perimeter and the pits offer over 230 spaces for competitors to setup in. The organizer will be streaming the weekend’s competition live over the Internet through the company’s own in-house TV production group.

The KIC Information and Hospitality pavilion will be set in a high traffic area adjacent to the arena and with the support of some new association members, we will be meeting with national, regional and local karting businesses to bring our inclusive industry focus to the Speedway, dirt oval community.

In addition to the industry aspect, the KIC pavilion will have information available to hand out, promoting performance karting as a great grassroots motorsport.
