24 Hours of Grand Prix New York

On Saturday, October 23rd Grand Prix New York will be hosting a 24 hour karting race. Teams from all over will be gathering to take a shot at winning the $10,000 first prize while racing around the half-mile long Supertrack inside GPNY’s 120,000 sq. ft. facility. Each team will be required to pay a $6,000 entry fee to participate in the race which will provide them not only access to the biggest competition event in the facility’s history, but the opportunity to race in brand new 9 horsepower Sodi RX-7 racing karts. When drivers are getting some rest, food will be provided from the award winning Fuel Restaurant inside the facility. Sponsors such as Red Bull will be on hand to give out merchandise and help give drivers the “wings” they will need to do well.

This event is designed to be fun for anyone who likes to go fast. Whether you are a college student, racing enthusiast or business person looking to book your company’s next event, GPNY will be able to provide you with an unforgettable experience and the opportunity to walk away $10,000 richer. Second and third place prizes include more cash and tickets to professional racing event at nearby Lime Rock Park. Large teams are encouraged as the facility has more than enough space and action to accommodate everyone. Local hotels are cooperating with GPNY and have provided discounted rates for the weekend of the race. Great news for those of you who may be coming from out of town!
